Natasha Courtenay-Smith, Director

Natasha has been a full time journalist for over a decade. Two years into her career, whilst working on a women’s magazine, she was shortlisted for the PPA magazine awards “Young Journalist of the Year award”. She also worked full time at the Daily Mail newspaper for three and a half years, where she specialized in true life stories. Natasha says: ‘My aim is the help people who need advice in dealing with the media, plus to ensure their experience of speaking about their lives is as positive as possible. I want to make selling a story to the press a straight forward, transparent and rewarding experience and to get our clients the best possible deal for their true life story.’

Natasha has appeared as a media expert on numerous radio stations across the country, including Radio 4 and BBC Radio Five Live, and been featured in The Guardian, Press Gazette and The Independent. Katie has guided dozens of people through selling their story to tabloid newspapers and women’s magazines.

Katie writes and sells many stories each week, and her most high profile interviewees include Fawad Irshad, the shopkeeper who was hacked almost to death by a machete-wielding gang after he reported them for selling 50p worth of sweets, and Marianne Wilkins, whose ex-husband Simon was sent to prison after faking cancer and using his supposed illness to exhort money out of friends and family.
